Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
Tax & Accounting Firm | Onsite in Baraboo, WI
24 hours/week | Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
We are seeking a reliable, organized Administrative Assistant to join our growing tax and accounting firm. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional office environment, communicates well with clients, and can keep daily operations running smoothly during busy tax and bookkeeping seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
- Monitor and manage the administrative email inbox
- Schedule appointments and assist with client communications
- Organize documents, client files, and office workflows
- Assist with tax office administrative tasks and seasonal support
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive financial information
- Support additional office responsibilities as needed

Ideal Candidate:
- Lives near the Baraboo area for reliable commuting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced office setting
- Prior administrative or office experience preferred
- Tax or accounting office experience is a plus, but not required
- Proficient with email, phone systems, and general office software
Compensation:
- $18–$20/hour, based on experience
