Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
Tax & Accounting Firm | Onsite in Baraboo, WI
24 hours/week | Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

We are seeking a reliable, organized Administrative Assistant to join our growing tax and accounting firm. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional office environment, communicates well with clients, and can keep daily operations running smoothly during busy tax and bookkeeping seasons.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
  • Monitor and manage the administrative email inbox
  • Schedule appointments and assist with client communications
  • Organize documents, client files, and office workflows
  • Assist with tax office administrative tasks and seasonal support
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive financial information
  • Support additional office responsibilities as needed

Ideal Candidate:

  • Lives near the Baraboo area for reliable commuting
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced office setting
  • Prior administrative or office experience preferred
  • Tax or accounting office experience is a plus, but not required
  • Proficient with email, phone systems, and general office software

Compensation:

  • $18–$20/hour, based on experience
